Captain Awesome

Creative Director · Geekception founder

He arrived in Malaysia from Nigeria in 2013 to study IT, after spotting “Made in Malaysia” on the bottom of his childhood Xbox console. A year later, in 2014, he started Geekception from scratch.
Cold messages to brands. Calling regional PR offices in Singapore and China to chase invites to product launches. Showing up at events without a press pass. Eleven years on, Geekception is one of Malaysia’s most established independent tech review channels — 41,400 subscribers, 12.4 million lifetime views, 848 videos and counting.
He owns the full production stack. Shooting, editing, color, audio, on-camera presenting. Every video on the channel is his. Featured by SAYS.com and Hype.my, and listed by YNaija among the Top 100 in Nigerian tech.

Business Development · Storyteller

Runs the business side of Awesome Creatives. Sales, brand partnerships, client relationships, operations. The bridge between the channel’s audience and the brands who want to reach them.
Writer since 2007. Travel essays published across major Arabic publications. Today she writes her Travel Diary in Arabic, the personal blog where most of it has lived for nearly two decades.
Every week, she sends Postcard in Transit, a Substack on slow travel and stories, and runs a Snail-Mail club. Founder of Nomadic Arabs, a platform for Arab digital nomads.
All of that explains how she thinks about brand work; with the same editorial honesty she brings to her own publishing. A pitch deck is just another draft.
